吳榮滁牧師簡介

吳榮滁牧師出生於澳門，十三歲遷居台灣。他畢業於台灣成功大學化學工程系及研究院，曾任職高級工程師。蒙神呼召後，在台北華神、新加坡神學院 、美國歌頓康維 (Gordon-Conwell) 神學院和威敏斯特 (Westminster) 神學院進修，並在威敏斯特神學院取得釋經學博士學位，論文主題是啟示錄研究。吳牧師曾在台灣、美國牧會，也曾投身神學教育，在新加坡神學院全職任教並代理教務主任，現任威明頓主恩堂主任牧師。吳牧師已婚，與妻子呂素琴師母育有一子吳書亞，目前在Ohio State University就讀國際關係博士課程。

Rev. Peter Wu was born in Macao, and emigrated to Taiwan with his family when he was 13. He became a Christian while studying at the National Cheng-Kung University in Taiwan, where he also received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees.

Entering the workforce, Rev Wu previously worked as a Senior Engineer in the R&D department for a multinational company in Taiwan. After he received God’s calling to the ministry, Rev. Wu resigned from his job and began receiving preparation and equipping at the China Theological Seminary in Taipei. He returned to serve at his home church upon graduation. In 1990, he was admitted to Singapore Bible College, going on to receive his M.Div there.

Upon graduating from the Master of Divinity program, he began full-time teaching at Singapore Bible College. Then, he went to the United States to further his studies, and received his Th.M. at the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. in Hermeneutics at the Westminster Theological Seminary. He then returned to Singapore Bible College, serving as a full-time lecturer and acting Academic Dean. Sensing God’s calling to return to full-time pastoral service, he returned to the United States, eventually coming to Delaware, where he now serves as the senior pastor at WCEC.

Rev. Wu is married to Cindy, and has a son Joshua who is working on his PhD in Political Science at The Ohio State University.
